Black Forest
– Location: Northeast Scuba Diving Balicasag Island spot, southwest of the island of Panglao.

A Scuba Diving Balicasag are reached in 30 minutes by our bangka.
Normally the sea in this dive is calm, but sometimes the current can be strong at diving into Balicasag depending on the tides though usually not an impediment to the sole visibility is excellent, even reaching over 30 meters.
The famous for its gorgonians and “blacks” corals are a paradise view on landscapes in different colors.
Steep slope to where easily 40 meters with grouper, emperor scorpion and schools of blue tail triggerfish are reached.
The shallow waters are garden eels, moray eels, triggerfish titan triggerfish orange stripe, banks surgeon fish, moorish idol, banner fish, catfish, orange roughy, real Angel fish and puffer fish.
The deep water are typical of diving into Balicasag and they live large groupers, Napoleon fish, barracuda, tuna and snapper fish bat. Of course, not forgetting the almost ubiquitous turtles throughout the dive.
CATHEDRAL
– Location: Scuba Diving Balicasag Island spot, southwest of the island of Panglao.

Analyzing Balicasag dive spots, we find “The Cathedral”, a sand slope by which descend from 3 to 9 meters and followed a wall that reaches more than 60 meters deep.
Barrel sponges, coral table reef fish and turtles.
Eaves with caves and lion fish, banner fish, trigger fish, large tuna and catfish banks of sand.
It’s easy to find large schools of Jack Fish, a caránjido nothing forming shoals creating spectacular spirals forms to which you can bring almost to get inside these formation.
We can find caves and grottos, as in other diving in Balicasag, not large but enough to get into them and enjoy a more technical and delicate diving.
RICO’S WALL

– Maximum depth: 50 meters

– Immersion Level: Easy
Normally calm with variable currents, but is one of the diving in Balicasag where the current can be tough and strong.
The visibility in these diving sites in Balicasag can reach 40 meters.
Rico’s wall has a coral garden on a shelf 7 meters to 12 meters depth beyond having a wall, drops to 35 meters of garden with hard and soft corals, hydroids, nudibranchs, starfish, crinoids, all small reef fish, sea anemones and clownfish.
Banks rifle, jacks, snapper, Moorish idols, anthias, chromis, banner fish frequent the edge of the reef and shallow waters.
This wall itself has everything; small caves, overhangs and crevices with soldier fish, squirrel fish, lionfish, moray eels. There are big fans of gorgonians, sponges, sea elephant ear, barrel sponges and basket sponges and crinoids by all parties.
Deeper, there are large groupers, wrasse, tuna and the occasional shark gray or white tip reef shark.
Barracudas and turtles appear out of nowhere during our dive.
RUDY’S ROCK

Rock Rudy is the continuation of Rico’s Wall with a similar structure, except that large green turtles are seen more frequently here.
There is a huge shoal of caránjidos big eyes as well as the famous Jack Fish that circulates around you until you move in groups to fish for some other point.
Of course all kinds of small reefs fish and nudibranchs, crabs and shrimp are also observed.
Rico’s wall and Rudy’s Rock are two points in Balicasag Island Dive listed in the top 10 rankings numerous diving worldwide.
DIVERS HEAVEN

It is a steep slope in the North Island Balicasag.
It is another diving site in Balicasag in which we find occasional strong currents, but GeneralThe diving is quiet and comfortable.
You can see many riflemen gold bands, large mackerel, snapper, red tooth triggerfish and turtles.
On the reef ledges you can see large coral reefs as margarita and some big brown tube sponges.
THE SANCTUARY

The favorite attraction is the great school of jackfish silver so typical of these diving in Balicasag. It is very common, since these fish are accustomed to divers, to approach them and even swimming among the large tubular structure formed.
Snappers and different types of sweet lips. Countless types of coral fish and nudibranchs are easily observed.
Located on the south side of Panglao Island is a pretty straight with many caves and overhangs wall.
Most of the time we started the dive with the wall of the left shoulder going towards Ruddy’s Rock.
Among the diving into Balicasag, this is the most suitable for snorkeling give the great diversity of fish shallow.
